Install the plugin
Go to Plugins → Add New, search for WooCommerce, install and activate it. The setup assistant creates the Shop, Cart, Checkout and My Account pages.
Payments
Under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, enable a gateway such as Stripe or PayPal. Use test mode first and place a test order end to end.
Tax and shipping
Set your store address under General, then configure tax rates and shipping zones for the regions you sell to. Digital-only stores can skip shipping.
Add a product
Go to Products → Add New, enter a title, price, description and images, choose a category and publish.
